From the whole team at "The A image" we wanted to wish everyone a great happy and safe holiday. We have been working on some special events and features for 2009 so stay tuned and be prepared to be amazed.

This past weekend "The A image" attended a private event at Kress in Hollywood for the Affliction Clothing Xmas party. Ran into a few old friends and made great contacts. Met with one of the owners of Affliction and Skinnie Magazine, all in all a great night then to end it right headed over to Green Door made it just in time for last call.

The funniest most random shoot we've been to yet, can't wait to see the video. Great guys made us feel welcome and part of the family right away. This wasn't for work in any way other than some old fashion PR. Check out there single "Im in Miami Bitch"

Sorry for the crappy pics I left my crackberry at home so I had to use the crapkick...

Those of you who follow boxing know this face well, those who don't better get to know him. Jeff "Left Hook" Lacy was in town doing a shoot for Yomin Jenkins Photography the past week before he headed to Vegas for the De La Hoya vs. Pacquiao fight. Lacy is the former international super middleweight champion of the world, with 27 fights under his belt 17 were won by way of KO. Pound for pound the hardest hitting boxer in the game. Well Jeff is now rolling with The A image, rocking this limited and super exclusive hand made "A image" shirt. Theres only one way to get this shirt and thats becoming "A listed"

Stay stuned for projects in the works with the champ and "The A image"

Last year was the first year we joined together with Speed Ventures along with Nissan Sport Magazine to bring a track day and autocross at Fontana's Auto Club Speedway. It was such a big hit we went for it again. Its a great way to end a long show season with the OG people in the scene and bring everyone together to help in a great cause. We become like one big family after 11 months of high compotition with all the other teams in the car scene. Playmate "Nicole Voss" a dear and close friend of ours "The A image" donated her time to hosted the event last year. Here is a trailer of the event...

What Really Happened

This is a subject so close to home I must speak on it....

Being an Armenian this subject is always a hard one; when your own nation wont recognize what really happened due to politics and money. Many people don't know the facts and I think that's the problem. My Great Grandma was a survivor of the Armenian Genocide only about 9yrs old when it happened. I think it's really time for the US Government to step forward and recognize the massacre of 1.5 million Armenians that were marched to their deaths in 1915. With so many facts that it happened how can Turkey and the Unite States still live in denial?

Today Kim Kardashian finally spoke out on the subject and I am very proud to see the word has really began to spread. Enough is enough!

Here's what Kim Blogged today...

“LET’S RECOGNIZE WHAT REALLY HAPPENED

As many of you know, this is an issue near and dear to my heart…

I firmly believe the U.S. should officially recognize the horrific and historical atrocity of the Armenian Genocide, also known as the “Great Calamity?”

For those of you who don’t know about it: More than a million Armenian people were marched to their death during World War I and beyond. I know, the number is so staggering, I cannot even fathom it.

Right now MSNBC has posted a poll on the matter and I cannot believe how many people have voted “no.” I’m left to wonder if people are really aware of the gravity of the situation.

I voted “yes” and would appreciate it if you felt it in your heard to vote “yes” too.”

Here’s a song Armenian band, System of a Down, wrote about the Genocide.

Aside from that you can find him at some of the hottest clubs in LA like, Les Duex and Area. Rewind the past week

So been MIA for a few days now, just recovering from 5 days in Vegas! Went up there for the SEMA show. Show was weak sauce but made the best of it. After walking it for 2 days I was over it and hung out in our Penthouse at Planet Hollywood. A few days from the office was needed just to mellow things out. We clubbed EVERY night till about 4-5am, my liver has had it. From Prive to Moon and Playboy Club, over to Tao till 530am on Saturday it was their 3 year anniversary and my boy Dan comped all our drinks for the night. Closed a nice deal in the plane ride and got a meeting setup up to start planning our launch party in Sin City. The plane ride back was just hell, such bad weather felt like I was in a martini shaker.

Got back Sunday and slept ALL DAY, then headed over to Grandma's house for some long missed home cooked meal. No one can mess with Grandma's cooking, she'll take on the whole food channel. Monday was a long hard grind but got through it. Had dinner with a friend who just moved into town then went to so see my PR rep. All the boys were in the house, Yomin "Hood" Jenkins, Scotty 2 Hotty, Palmer the worthless man, Fred Jordan, and of course the movie star Sean Faris.

Sean had no clue but we made him a special piece he had been wanting. See most of these amateur jewelers will make a piece cover it with diamonds and just give it to the customer to get their cash. We take everything to the tenth power, we made Sean a skull where the mouth opens and closes and when then mouth opens the eyes bulge out. I'm talking serious time went into engineering this thing. I guess all those math classes were worth it. Sean went jumping around the house like a kid in a sugar high. We've made him pieces before but he flipped on this which lets me know we did a damn good job.

Tuesday night went out to dinner with the Hood Fam. This has got to be the most Hollyhood dinner Ive been to. I'm not going to name drop but lets just say "The Hills" aint got nothin on this. We were like 20 deep and Benihanna's in Beverly Hills, drinks flowing and everyone getting rowdy. We headed up to Bar Marmont to continue the night, ended up tapping out early. A week in Vegas killed me I just couldn't do another night and remember its TUESDAY!

Bling King

What a great way to start off the week on a Monday like this. I got to the office late today had to do some running around to get ready to head to Vegas for SEMA. When I got in I got a call from my good friend Irving Morales, he asked if I received a package and I said "what the hell are you talking about?"As I was talking to him the door bell rang it was the mail chick...I told Irving I would call him back after I opened the package.

Well I would just like to say Irving you really out did himself this time bro. This guy made me a custom hand made hoodie. This is not just some BS hoody with silk screen logos. The thing is laced with Swavorski Crystals each put on one by one by hand. That's not being enough he had the inside line with the finest silk. This guy blows me away every time with his amazing designs and workmanship. He even sent me some exclusive stuff from his new line "Fama."

You know you got great friends when they make custom threads for you...Thanks brother much love!

If you want anything blinged out from shoes to champange glasses to whatever you can think of The Bling King can do it. I have been wearing his gear made for over a year now and not one stone has fallen off. So hit him up tell you friends about him you wont be sorry.

Halloweenie.....

Hope everyone had a great and safe one. Glad the rain held out and made it a great night for the parties. Started the night early we were doing Rated R shots at 8 O'clock. Then the crowd started to roll in at my boys house. Its was great laughs seeing everyone dressed up and playing their part well. It was good times with old friends like the high school house part days.

My boy Sasoon "Pelisopa" made the famous PIMP PUNCH. No one can hang with this drink, whats in it has been a secret for 10yrs now. No joke we had more than 10 gallons of the pink stuff. We still have 7 gallons left after 100 people were non stop asking for refills.

We wrapped things up around 2am I took a power nap till 3am then off to Hollywood. Lived the hood life till 6am with my boy Yomin Jenkins.

Just taking it slow and easy today, hit up my hair styleist at London Hair Co. to get cleaned up for Vegas this week. Ran some errands now just waiting for dinner with the car crew. CRAWFISH @ 7:30!

New beginings

Hi everyone,

I'm Avo Minassian... I'm new to this so it should be fun. Im about to launch my jewelry website in a few weeks once Emsar Design is done with the one of a kind creation. Im really excited about it as Emil and his team are amazing with the talents they have.

A little about me and my company, I come from a family background of 50+ years in jewelry industry. Last year I decided to put my name on the map and started The A image. We are a full custom design and manufacturing facility base in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles, everything is done in house and I look over every proccess to ensure each master piece we create meets our high standards. From each stone to the packaging I make sure our clients receive "A-List" treatment.

Each piece I design I do as if it were for me, with passion and extra attention to detail. If I'm not happy with it then it isn't "The A image."Every piece starts with a hand drawing from our professional artist then onto a 3D CAD program to assure persision and quality.

Our private list of clients range from top name companies in the jewelry and fashion world to high profile celebrities and business men and women.

I look forward and am very excited to see our website and I hope you are too.
